2011 Christmas Tour :: Living Room

Decorating for Christmas is so much fun.  I’m delighted that you stopped by our home.  Christmas cheer starts outside with a lighted PB inspired garland and ball embellished wreaths to match.

We usually enter our home by way of the screened porch.  This area is decorated for the season, too.

The screened porch door takes us into the living room decorated in traditional red, green, gold, and silver.

I shared our mantle here.   Making my own fresh wreaths is a pleasure.

  1. I love the combination of traditional and natural elements of the wreath and pinecone with the sparkle of glass and crystal. I could sit in this room all afternoon sipping on hot cider.

  2. Spectacular!! I love the homemade wreaths, especially the one outside. The crystal tree is brilliant and beautiful. We lived near “crystal” country in Germany back in the 80’s when my hubby was stationed there with the Army. Crystal shops in every corner and lots of bargains. I wish I had bought more than just a bowl and bell. These crystal stars are so elegant, I would love to see how they glisten around the room! So festive 🙂

  3. Lovely, Paula! So warm and cozy and classic. I think your home belongs on one of those Christmas tours. 🙂

  4. Paula, I LOVE LOVE LOVE all of this – – – especially the simplicity of green and red on the white background of your walls.

  5. Your room is very warm and inviting. The cloche is glowing in your picture and I love the dresser in the room. It is beautifully decorated for Xmas.

  6. It’s all so pretty! How did you get that cloche to glow like that? Divine! Girl, your porch is gorgeous!

  7. Hi Paula, just charming….so welcoming and inviting.
