Treasures From a Friend

My friend is in the process of cleaning out her mother’s home and let me have a few things this weekend.  She was happy to give them away and I was happy to receive them!

I am in love with this pink vase.  My friend put it to the side for me along with the bowl and decanter because she knew I would find a special place in my home for them.  All too soon I’ll be filling the bowl with gourds for fall décor.  I recently cracked my favorite pitcher and this clear glass one is a great replacement.  An angel food cake pan has been on my list of “things I could use in the kitchen” for a long time.  Now I have no excuse for not baking a yummy, diet-friendly cake.

I spotted these tennis rackets in a closet and asked if I could have them.  The wooden one is my favorite and I’ll bet that one day it hangs on my wall as a decoration.  Don’t you love the monogrammed tennis racket cover?

I couldn’t pass up a bag of cookie cutters.  Many of these designs were missing from my collection.

I don’t think I’ll ever have enough wrapping paper, tissue paper, ribbon, or tags.  All of this will come in handy sooner or later.

Many thanks to my good friend for sharing these goodies with me!
