Bathroom Renovation :: Part Five

This weekend we both had a lot of time to devote to our bathroom renovation project.  I was able to complete the window curtain with the exception of needing to buy five rings to sew to the top.  Bathroom Curtain1

Instead of using a rod, this curtain will hang from three Pate Meadows knobs.
Stewart Knob

The knobs will extend out 3.5 inches like a rod would do thanks to Pate Meadow’s handy knob extenders.

Mr. SP was able to grout most of the wall tile on Saturday and then finished the job on Sunday.  The tile still needs a bit of cleaning but is looking good!  This job ended up taking a lot longer than either of us anticipated.

We hope to have the plumber come this week to finish installing the shower faucet.  The tub will be resurfaced and then we’ll install the floor.  On my list for next weekend is to make a roman shade using the coordinating turquoise fabric.

Progress is being made and we both love that!
