Best of the Weekend

Welcome to Best of the Weekend!  We are glad that you are here and are starting your weekend with us.

Things have been crazy in my neck of the woods.  Sunday night our area had an EF-3 tornado sweep through.  My home had minimal damage but others in my neighborhood were not so lucky.  Many homes suffered major damage when large trees fell on them.  Three doors down, our neighbors had a tree cleave their home and it destroyed two of their cars in the process.  They are now living in a hotel.  Across the river in Elon, there was even worse damage with many homes completely destroyed.  Two friends lost their homes to the tornado and then another lost hers to a fire.  The devastation around here is horrible to see.

It is our pleasure to host the Best of the Weekend Party each Friday night at 8pm.
