Best of the Weekend

Welcome to Best of the Weekend!  We are glad that you are here and are starting your weekend with us.

It’s Labor Day Weekend!  The summer flew by so quickly and I plan to enjoy September’s warm days and to pretend that fall isn’t on its way.  Our sweet neighbor who was a WWII veteran died this week, so one of our weekend activities will be attending his funeral.  Our dog enjoyed visiting him often in the evenings on his front porch.  Harry liked to ask Sherman to “Shake” and then would reward Sherman with a Beggin’ Strip.  Harry will be missed in our neighborhood.

What are you doing this weekend?  Leave a comment and let me know!

This Week’s Best of the Weekend Party

I look forward to what is shared this week!

  1. I’m sorry that you have to go to a funeral this holiday weekend. I’m glad you have good memories, though.

I’m looking forward to some cooler weather. We have rain now.

    Thanks for the party!
