Celebrating Everyday Life with Jennifer Carroll :: May/June 2014

Another issue of Jennifer Carroll’s Celebrating Everyday Life is now available.  This issue is a special one as it is the first anniversary edition.  With150 pages, you are sure to find a decorating and craft ideas to copy or recipes to try.  So many things caught my eye in this issue and I can’t wait until school is out so that I’ll have time to try a few ideas for myself.

 

Get Inspired!

Bee ideas abound in the May/June 2014 issue.  Wouldn’t it be fun to host a Queen Bee Luncheon for a group of friends?  The stenciled bee table runner is a craft that I’d love to make for my own table.

 

Don’t Seeded Rosemary Rolls baked in terracotta pots look tasty?  I think rolls in pots would be perfect for a Queen Bee Luncheon!

 

Strawberries are in season here in Virginia.  Over the weekend I noticed several local spots with signs along the highway pointing pickers in the right direction.  Wouldn’t this white chocolate strawberry tart be a scrumptious dessert?

 

Learn how to make personalized bee coasters for a fun gift.  The raised text and graphic probably would help keep a glass from sticking to the coaster.

 

The May/June issue has so many fun ideas.  Father’s Day is just around the corner.  Forget the boring gift bag for wrapping your gift.  Use fabric, trim, and old belts to jazz up dad’s package.
