SL@H Hurricanes

I love these! For winter they held layers of Hemlock cones and some sweet smelling pods that I bought at Buffalo Spring Herb Farm. For spring they had small eggs that were brown, dark green, or light green. One year for Easter they held jellybeans. Last summer they held sea glass. In the fall I’ve filled them with birdseed and stuck pheasant feathers in the top. I got that idea from Martha.

Last weekend I saw this moss in my craft cabinet and desided to layer it with these cool rocks. I love the outcome!

I accidentallly chipped one of these and about died. I just turned the chip to the wall and figured no one would notice!

  1. I have these hurricanes too and love them! They are so versatile.

I hope you have a nice weekend!

  2. Love the crafty idea for the hurricanes!! You are so clever!

  3. I sell Southern Living at HOME and I always encourage customers to go for the Hurricanes. They are the best-and I love changing them with the seasons.
