Best of the Weekend

Happy Friday!

What are you up to this weekend?  I’m hoping to get a start on Christmas decorating.  I don’t like to start until after Thanksgiving but since it’s so late this year, I’m going to make an exception.

Let’s get on to the party!

What I Shared This Week

I gave a cottage style coffee table a makeover with paint.  I scored this piece at a yard sale in August for just $5.  I couldn’t load it into my truck fast enough when I heard that price.A $5 Yard Sale Coffee Table Gets an Update with Paint

This project has been in the works for a long while and is finally complete.  We used a 1983 Russian rifle storage crate to make a work bench.  Mr. SP built card catalog style drawers for storage and added peg board to hang tools.  The crate’s lid serves as a work surface.  We are both thrilled with the end result of this project.

I am smitten over this DIY Felt Santa Ornament made by A Cultivated Nest.  Isn’t this adorable?
