Happy Easter!

It’s a beautiful Easter Sunday here in Virginia.  We will enjoy a visit with our sweet niece and a family cookout.  It’s a perfect day for it.

The Easter Bunny visited last night and brought my favorite treat, jelly beans, along with a cute watering can.

Gotta love my conservative Easter Bunny!

  1. Oh how I love starburst and jelly bellies. That’s a Grand Ole Party of a watering can 😉

  2. Happy Easter Paula! Have a great day. I’m having an Easter cookout for my family here at my house, but I’m taking a break right now to visit my blogging friends. That watering can is so cute! Enjoy the jelly beans!

Happy Easter

I hope that each and every one of you have a nice day celebrating Easter with your family and friends.

I thought I’d share some of my vintage Easter postcards in celebration of this special day. I’m so glad that my relatives saved these.

I made some treats to share with everyone attending our Easter dinner. I got this idea from Tracey at Vintage Be Joyful who got her idea from Heather Bullard. Thanks for the inspiration! Regular old Easter candy looks much cuter when it is repackaged!

This basket was my dad’s Easter basket and then mine. I love it’s shape. It was made somewhere in Maryland.

I found chocolates at a local shop with the cutest vintage labels. I’m also handing these out as an Easter treat.

Happy Easter!
