Lucky Me!
I recently won two great giveaways. The first was through Stacy’s blog, Red Door Home for a $50 credit to Sheyna Jewelry. I had to chip in a little extra to get the earrings I wanted, but it was well worth it because I love them and have nothing else like them.

Pretty, aren’t they? I thought that the two leaves were fused and would stay to one side but they are actually two separate leaves. I usually wear small earrings and like these larger dangling hoops.
The next thing that I won was through Wendy and Tony’s blog, Relatively Unique. My grandmother bought a Christmas with Southern Living book nearly every year and I always enjoyed looking at her copies. It’s been a few years since I’ve seen a Christmas with Southern Living and I was thrilled with the content. I have been pouring over this book every since I first opened it. It’s full of great recipes and decorating ideas. There’s also a craft section with a few crafts that I’ve marked to try. Many thanks to Wendy and Tony for picking me as their winner in celebration of reaching 300 followers.

Yay! Congrats to you! Those earrings are so pretty! I love long dangly earrings and those look great on you. Perfect for wearing with upswept hair, great for fall with those pretty leaves.
Oh my goodness! They would have to have a picture of delicious Christmas candies on the cover of that magazine! Wow! Can’t wait to see what you create from all the ideas in it.

Congrats to you, Paula! So glad that you were the lucky winner! I loved your last pictures of the parkway. I did not get to visit the mountains this fall due to a busy schedule.
