More Forgotten Projects

I recently posted about making something and then forgetting all about it.  I thought I’d share a few more things that I made from Amy Butler’s In Stitches book back in 2007.

I love these place mats but rarely used them because Mr. SP and I eat on the sofa while we watch TV.  Isn’t that a terrible habit?  These pretty place mats have only been used a time or two so when we have had company.  I made a set of six.  Wouldn’t a set be a great gift?

I also made lounge pants.  If I remember correctly, these were SO easy to make.  I know that I haven’t worn them for two years.  Why??  I’m definitely going to be lounging in the fall of 2010 in these comfortable pants.
I pulled out my Amy Butler book and found a project that I’d really like to try.  Look for the round, ruffled pillow on the cover of Amy’s book shown below.  Isn’t it cute?  I doubt that I get to make it any time soon, but it is definitely on my list of things I’d like to make.
If only I got paid to sew!
