Weekend and Two Yummy Cookie Recipes

Cheers to the weekend! It’s been a long week and I’m looking forward to having two days all to myself.

My agenda for the weekend is: mulching, dock staining, fixing our broken dryer, and a tennis match. I’ve got my fingers crossed that Mr. SP will be able to fix our dryer and that we won’t have to call a repair person. Broken appliances are the pits.

In other news, Mr. SP completed the Big Sur Marathon last Sunday and I am so proud of him!  I’d like to share a finish-line photo, but I didn’t get to go on the trip with him and I’m not sure if one exists.   Big Sur is a beautiful, but tough course.

When Mr. SP returned home, he had a treat for me in his suitcase from the race expo.

Isn’t this top cute?  I wore it last night for a Cinco De Mayo tennis social and got a lot of compliments.  It’s super comfortable and is going to be great for running, tennis, and the gym.

On Friday I was happy to guest post for Kelli at Random Thoughts of a Supermom as a part her “Roadtrip Ready” series where  I shared two of my very favorite cookies recipes.  I would love it if you’d check out my post where I share a delicious chocolate chip cookie recipe and also one for yummy peanut butter cookies.

Have a great weekend!
