Time to Do Some Reading
One of my friends invited me to join her book club, so I had to order my book asap so that I’ll have enough time to read it. The good thing about this club is that it is ok if you don’t read the book. Some months everyone reads it and some months hardly anyone has time to finish. Since it will be my first time, I definitely will read it. I think most of the ladies in this group want to have an evening out with friends, away from kids, and they definitely want to drink wine. This month the group meets at a local wine shop that also has a restaurant. I already know that it will be a fun evening.

I read a little bit about it on Amazon and I’m not sure I’ll like it, but I could be pleasantly surprised. Any opinions??
I enjoyed Amy Butler’s “In Stitches” so much this summer that I went ahead and ordered her newest book. I can’t wait to get this one!
I’m like you… I get excited about Oprah books but then end up not really enjoying them 🙁
Let us know if Middlesex is good! I haven’t heard of the other one you mentioned… so I’ll have to check it out!
Middlesex is an excellent book…great writing, really great story about the main character, family & America’s evolution in the 20th century. I just re-read it recently, in fact.
