Stitch Fix Review for December 2021 – Fix #100

A new month means a new Stitch Fix review. This is a special Stitch Fix box because it is my 100th one!

Stitch Fix Review for December 2021 - Fix #100

For this Fix, I asked my wonderful stylist for clothes to wear while spending Christmas in Vermont. I requested a Christmas Eve and Christmas Day dress and sweaters.

Michael Michael Kors Perette Knit Dress

The first thing that I tried on was the Michael Michael Kors Perette Knit Dress.

I loved the pattern and fabric of this dress. It was super soft, comfortable, and since the fabric is no-wrinkle, would make a great travel dress.

You can see all of my Christmas tree details here and how I decorated our formal living room and dining room for Christmas here.

If I were still teaching, this would be a great dress to wear to school in spring and summer.

Since it wasn’t a dress I could wear for Christmas, it was returned.

Bobeau Wallace Brushed Cardigan

I then layered the Bobeau Wallace Brushed Cardigan over the dress.

I loved everything about it but didn’t keep it because since I drastically paired down my wardrobe, I no longer have anything to wear with it.

Leota Faux Wrap Knit Dress

Next, I tried on the Leota Faux Wrap Knit Dress.

I loved the fabric, style, and comfort of this dress. It’s also another no-wrinkle one.

This dress was returned because it wasn’t appropriate for Christmas.

Sanctuary Teddy Fuzzy V-Neck Pullover

The Sanctuary Teddy Fuzzy V-Neck Pullover was so soft and comfortable.

I paired the sweater with my beloved Blundstone boots and a Kendra Scott necklace from Rocksbox.

Rocksbox is a jewelry subscription service that sends three pieces of jewelry that you can wear for as long as you like each month.  When you send your three pieces back or buy what you like, a new box is sent.  If you’d like a free month of Rocksbox, sign up with this code: PAULABFF54

It is really cold here in Virginia so we had to take pictures inside this month. To see details on my winter decor, click here and here.

I didn’t keep this because it was too big for me but I liked it very much.

Due to my lung cancer treatment, I now only weigh three more pounds than my dog, Sherman. I am working hard to gain weight but it is very difficult.

The last thing that I tried on was the Market & Spruce Tawnee Cotton Blend Waffle Stitch Pullover.

My Christmas Eve and Day Outfits

Since I didn’t receive dresses in this Fix that will work for Christmas Eve and Day, this is what I am wearing.

On Christmas Eve, I will wear a plaid dress from my December 2019 Fix.

On Christmas Day, I will wear this J Crew blouse. I love plaid and especially love it if it is red.

I will pair the blouse with velvet leggings from Amazon.

  1. Paula, The little dress was very cute and looked like it would travel well for warmer weather. Your choice of sweater was a good one it looked great on you with your jeans and boots!! I think of you often and always love seeing Sherman by your side 😉

    All my best to you,
    June

  2. You look beautiful in everything, Paula. I like the last sweater and jeans outfit. You’ll look lovely and will be cozy for your Vermont trip. So happy that you’ll have a nice getaway during the holidays.
Praying for you and your family each day.

  3. Paula, your choice suits your natural lifestyle, and looks great on you (love the JCrew blouse too!). I noticed your weight loss, but you still look good. And besides, Sherman is a big boy! I know both of my oldest daughter’s dogs weigh more than me, and it’s a little overwhelming since I’m not close to them everyday, Praying for you continually in hopes you’ll regain your appetite and strength you know and love.

  4. Paula, I love your choice of sweater! It really does compliment you and will be great for your trip to Vermont. Continued prayers, my Friend, for more progress. My brother also lost an amazing amount of weight, but has regained all but about 15 pounds of where he was when he started the treatments. So praying for you to regain where you’re feeling comfortable and happy!! Christmas Blessing to you and your family!!

      1. Just keeping going step by step, day by day. Love your mental strength and endurance. So impressed by your family and Sherman. Have a wonderful trip.

  5. I know how difficult it is to put weight back on: my momma has been trying since finishing treatments about 15 months ago and weighs less or about the same as my 10 year old. She was petite before but now… She has had more difficulties too as the radiation messed up nerves in her ear causing pain, wobbling and jaw issues. Hope that you will be able to get back little by little. Take care! And I agree with the dresses: not right for Christmas!
